NFL Protests Ripple Down To High School Players

The NFL protests have continued with more teams, and high school students nationwide are taking note. 
Like soccer players in Maine. Other schools even have had principals saying they’ll remove players from the team if they don’t stand. 
But that’s not the case in Sioux Falls.
“So as long as our students aren’t doing something that’s a disruption to the learning environment, we won’t infringe on their constitutional rights,” said Sioux Falls Superintendent Brian Maher.

Still Making WAVES

For the first time, a female World War II veteran is applying to take part in Midwest Honor Flight. 
If you’ll remember, 85 veterans from World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam were honored during a special trip to memorials in Washington D.C. this August. All of them were men from South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota.
